Strange lights appeared in the darkness of the void. Arakhon whispered a word... Apeiron. Flickering lights in the distance have become a new world. Out of nothingness he gave birth to the world of New Apeiron. He lit the Ethereal Flame to keep the powers of this new world in balance, to light the path of his worshipers and help Apeiron prosper in peace and tranquility. The magical Flame was passed on to the monks of Arakhon, leaving them in possession of the power of eternal light and darkness. Pyroblazer, a sport left by the creator. Holy challenge meant to choose the strongest, fastest and bravest. It was brought to us as a means to choose the one who shall be the season’s keeper of the Ethereal Flame. Often the heroes would rule Apeiron for many years to come. The seasons passed and the Flame changed its keeper and master for so many times. Heroes were announced and people were happy to greet them as the prediction of peaceful and prosperous future. The empire of Apeiron was always anxious to see a new season of Pyroblazer and would hail the new hero of their world with joy and happiness.

The elders passed on their knowledge of the oldest tales. Tales that speak of destruction and the sorrow that followed it. These stories passed from generation to generation are the only evidence of the apocalypse that hit New Apeiron in the distant past, and turned its surface to radioactive ashes and dust. It was at this time, so long ago, that the survivors chose to hide underground, in the secret caves where monks gathered. Nobody knew what they would find beneath our world. On the surface nothing remained. Glory of Apeiron came to an end.
As the prophecy of the monks of Arakhon foretold, the dark lunar circle finally came. "Dark Circulum" was upon us. The Flame was lost and only few survived to start again, burrowed in a world that is believed to lie beneath the surface of what was once New Apeiron. Dark Circulum after Dark Circulum, and one thousand years slowly passed. Inhabitants of the new colonies were divided in three main centers of underworld where they started developing a new civilization. During one thousand years the three centers expanded and connected to each other. The rebirth of a great civilization, a millennia old dream, was at hand. Three different levels of technology, three different cultures and three brothers met. They united their forces to build a new world, and bring the light of the Ethereal Flame to New Apeiron once again, expanding to the core and the surface likewise. A new world started to form, in expectation of a new age for New Apeiron. It is the name which still persists, but few know its true meaning.

As the Evelad diggers approached the core of New Aperion, an unexpected discovery marked the beginning of a new era. Deep inside the core the diggers found an artifact that nobody had imagined could exist - fire of Gods, the new Ethereal Flame, laying there in the darkness and emptiness of the secret world of Apeiron core. The Council of Wisdom studied the new found artifact and decided to follow the instructions written in the ancient runes carved in its base. Ruins of old tracks were rebuilt and new ones were created from the ground. The spirit of Pyroblazer had awoken. Heroes came from all over the three lands and a new tournament was held in all three underground centers. The Empire felt the glory once again. The Flame came to life, producing new life giving energy and after a thousand years of darkness it lit up once again. It called for the chosen one to keep it safe and bring back the glory to New Apeiron. A new season of Pyroblazer is about to begin.

In the year of the second Sun eclipse of Old Kingdom, young Shan-Thor has won his first season of Pyroblazer. In his hands, the Flame of God shined as bright as never before, enlightening the entire empire. The power of the Flame made the desert flourish. Shadows, in which darkness bred, were reduced to nothingness.
What has never happened before finally did. The season changed, and the divine Flame was still in the same hands. Shan-Thor was the first to win the tournament for two years in a row. His bravery and charisma won the sympathy of New Apeiron. Soon he was proclaimed King of Apeiron Empire. He became a ruler, hero and Flame keeper of the Empire. The seasons passed in peace and prosperity. No candidate for the throne was good enough to best Shan-Thor and for the next 12 years of Lunar cycle the light in his hands shone even brighter than before. It was a magnificent time for the Apeiron civilization, and the empire expanded endlessly. It should have stayed that way.

Time passed, stars flickered and died, planets moved and rotated, and finally the new "Circulum" was at hand. The prophets from Aesylym named it "The Dark One". After the annual festivities in the glory of Arakhon and the holy ceremony for the heroes long gone and those yet to come, the first race was to be fought in the Great Temple of Shan-Thor. The Arakhon worshipers made the temple, which should proclaim Shan-Thor to a "Hand of Arakhon", the greatest title that a mortal can bear. Unfortunately, the wheel of luck has turned and Shan-Thor died in his first race of the season. Darkness fell all over Apeiron. Shan-Thor had lost control of his Blazer and met his end in the depths of the imperial chambers of his own temple. Hearts froze with sorrow while the shadow of fear covered the empire. As the Ethereal Fire must have its keeper, the tournament continued.
The fear of Aesylym prophecy could be felt in the breeze which soon turned to hurricane of death and destruction. The tournament was won by a mystical hero who came out of nowhere and disappeared as swiftly as he came. No clues were left of his identity or intentions. People called him Fequam, but all tales describe him as a Dark Angel, second hand of the demon lord Loardi himself. People of Apeiron waited, but the hero did not return. Without the divine powers of the Flame, Apeiron was doomed to eternal darkness.
The sky changed to red and the forests turned to deserts. Plague spread through the empire and storms destroyed entire cities. Without the power of the Flame, the layer that protected the planet from the deadly radiation of the near stars dissipated. With no weather control the sand storms raged all over the surface. In one dark moment ten thousand years of great history were covered in dust, ashes and blood. This somber event left no survivors on the surface of New Apeiron. The balance of powers was broken and the killing forces of evil have been unleashed. Only few Apeirans ran deep into the depths of the planet and escaped storm waves and deadly plague on top. The larger part of Apeiran race has been annihilated. In the thousand years to follow the name of the greatest hero was put up by forgetfulness, and many have forgotten what New Apeiron once was. Many forgotten that there was a world outside the caves to which monks have bravely led them.
